“Hate speech and freedom of expression” was the focus of the conference held in Milan the 9^th of October. It was organized by ASGI, an association composed by lawyers specialized in migration issues, in cooperation with the University of Milan. The conference involved experts from different sectors and it aims at analyzing in-depth the phenomenon of hate speech and identify strategies to combat it. The first results of the research we are conducting within the Bricks project were presented in a workshop focused on online hate speech and the role of media.
